That’s the trick: Beta Cell is relatable, because there is no one type of person, and Stubing is a regular guy with type 1 diabetes.
— The Lancet

Beta Cell launched in November of 2015 and is based out of Los Angeles, California.
New episodes are released every Monday.

The Team

Craig Stubing
Creator & Host
Craig was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 13 years old. Through his podcast, his filmmaking, and Type One Run, he continues to prove that sharing stories is our most powerful tool to empathize, educate, and advocate.

Laura Pavlakovich
Co-Host, Out of Range
Laura has lived with type one diabetes nearly all her life. In 2016, she started You're Just My Type, a nonprofit dedicated to sharing the stories of people living with type 1 diabetes through the portraits she takes of them.
